Projects
Create and manage projects in Marten. Each project is its own kanban board.
Each project in Marten is a self-contained kanban board. You can create as many projects as your venture needs.
- Click the + button next to Projects in the left sidebar
- Fill in:
- Name — your project name
- Description — optional brief description
- Copy columns from — choose "Default columns" or an existing project's column layout
- Press Cmd+Enter or click Create
Your left sidebar lists all active projects. Click any project to switch to its board.
A project count shows how many active projects you have (e.g. "Active (3)").
- Separate workstreams within your venture (e.g. "Landing Page", "API", "Marketing")
- Different products or features being built in parallel
- Internal tooling vs. customer-facing work
