Logging Hours

Hours on tasks are the raw material of the equity pie. There are no equity meetings: you log hours, the team reviews the work, and the pie moves.

From Slack

Use the /log command in your team's channel (check your workspace for the exact command):

/log 3h Built onboarding flow for the launch card

The entry appears on the dashboard for review.

From Marten

1. Open Marten and navigate to your project board
2. Click on a story or create a new one
3. Log hours against the task
4. Submit for peer review

Rules

• Hours must be attached to a task — nobody can just put hours anywhere
• Your team reviews the work; the majority approves it
• Approved hours move the pie; rejected hours don't count
• You keep the hours you logged even if the startup fails
